About the Speakers

Michael A. Funaro, Registered Representative with Westpac Wealth Partners

Graduate of Florida State University, Husband & Father of 2 children (8 & 6). His value add goes beyond investment advice as he and his partners customize each financial plan for their clients with a clear road map of how to achieve their goals, protect their most important assets, create good saving habits, have tax diversification, become tax efficient, and make positive strides towards net worth growth. He has spent most of his career, over 25 years, in the hospitality, private club and golf spaces. With roots in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, he has worked in near the coasts of Southern California and is now in the Waldo area of Kansas City, Missouri. Sits as President of the Waldo Area Business Association, active in school PTA, and on 2 boards for Suicide Prevention efforts. He has held positions with NBCSports, PGATOUR, Greatlife Golf, Wyndham Resorts and assisted with opening a restaurant in Manhattan Beach, CA.
