About the Speakers
Kerri Cole, CDMP, PCM, CF APMP (she/her)
Digital and Creative Manager, Terracon
A self-proclaimed “creative nerd,” Kerri manages and implements Terracon’s digital footprint, including the company’s websites, email, social media, and SEO/SEM strategy. She also leads Terracon’s creative team and agency partners to help develop and execute campaigns for Terracon’s corporate and office teams. In addition to her A/E/C experience, Kerri is an adjunct professor of design and board member at Metropolitan Community College – Penn Valley in Kansas City, a former arts commissioner for her community, an avid reader, small dog lover, and a life-long advocate for arts and arts education.
Deana Ruud
Senior associate, director of external communications
Deana has built a career representing the grit, integrity, and excellence of the
engineering and construction industry. While she loves jobsite film sessions, she’s more often found collaborating to develop and build support for Terracon’s communication strategies and programs. She leads teams responsible for managing all digital channels, media relations, and promotions. Her role also includes online lead generation and go-to-market planning for Terracon’s innovative service offerings, where she works to empower clients and build internal adoption for new and emerging technologies. Outside of work, she’s a twin mom, a former college athlete, and an aspiring mahjong player.
